This article discusses and emends various passages in the text of the so-called ›Digby Mythographer‹, a twelfth-century compilation of stories, mainly from Ovid’s Metamorphoses, preserved in a single fourteenth-century manuscriptand first edited by Virginia Brown in 1972. There are a number of cases in which Brown’s text can be improved, sometimes with the aid of source passages (especially in Ovid, Servius, or the Second Vatican Mythographer), sometimes by conjecture, and in a few instances by a second look at the manuscript.
