Zu den Editionen des Liber scalae Machometi

Abstract

These notes compare the existing five editions of this 13th century Latin text on prophet Mohammed’s ascension to Heaven. It finds philological shortcomings in all of them and notices that the text’s rather ‹vulgar› language would deserve a closer study.
